heh. at loads of disappointments by the people close to u [in terms of distance], of whom u see in class or school or those u travel 40 minutes to and fro to meet evey week. it takes a brazilian halfway across the world, who just visited athens yesterday to really inspire you that it all isnt really that screwed up. haha.

anyways. went to watch the final with Matthew. story of the season huh. we lacked killer ball players, no finishers. other den Gerrard or Alonso, dont see anyone with the class for a killer ball at the moment, sad thing is alonso is off form and gerrard is seriously better making late rampaging and bombarding runs and screamers den on the right wing.

its like the second pool entered into the final 30 yards of the pitch, they didnt know wad to do, this was a side sorely lacking in creativity and i feel that by play Xabi Alonso so deep, it kinda stifles wad he can bring to the attacking aspect, heh, pool should try a 2 DMC in Mascherano and Sissoko / Lucas, throw Alonso in to the MC role, let him dictate play and put Gerrard on a free role where he can operate as an AMC or AMR and put, den buy a good left winger.

Zenden is tactically aware and intelligent but lacks the pedigree and talent. Gonzales, young and fast, but unable to adapt, lightweight, poor at decision making, unsettled, better off in spain. Kewell, probably the best left winger in the side but hasnt proven it due to constant injury, if they keep him, would love to see the form he showed at leeds united that made him one of the worlds most coveted players, if not, he can ship out as well. Get a decent left winger man, Sebastian Leto looks exciting, hope he becomes our Letoal Weapon. haha or get Nani, another talent or Downing hu can cross way better than any winger at Liverpool right now. On the right, Simao or Dani Alves would be fine but i wouldnt mind giving Paul Anderson or Adam Hammill a go!

Liverpool should invest in a centre back since Hyypia is getting old, Paletta hasnt impressed, he should go, promote Jack Hobbs and give him a go in the FA Cup and League Cup games or against the weaker teams in the league, get someone world class to challenge Aggar and Carragher so we can bring out their best performances, Aggar is great and composed with a great shot but still young and inexperienced in some aspect, would like to see him make the DC his own over the years, in the Hansen mould. heh. Gabby Milito would be swell or english talent, Steven Taylor or Anton Ferdinard would be fine.

Wingbacks wise, Riise is fine even thought its he should shoot better, Aurelio is great if not for injury, was starting to like him, would like to see Insua step up and start knocking on the first team door. On the right, Arbeola has been a bargain and Finnian has been phenomenal but his form seems to have run out and hes not young. With Pearce leaving Man City, Micah Richards would be a good snare.

ok, now into the most important, Strikers!! Fowlers has to go, i loved him and i saw his great goals! but i was a pool fan during the Owen Heskey partnership so no prizes for gussing for who i m the ultimately fan off since Heskey kinda sucked before he was shipped of to Birimingham. Yes Michael Owen!!!! would soooo love to see him back in a Reds jersey, hes world class and hes performances in Newcastle at the end of the season shows he still can get into great positions. His pace and positioning coupled with Kuyts industry or Crouchs knockdowns would be great!! Voronin sounds like someone to make the numbers, hope i m seriously proven wrong but i dont think it ll kill to have one more striker, i would really like David Villa! he seems pretty complete to me!! To me, he should be the no 1 target, or Eto o even thou thats highly unlikely. Failing to get Villa or someone of his calibre would be failure to get the EPL next season, so get him!! Why do i say so, because all the home games we drew and the home game we lost to man u, we domintated from start to end, creating loads of chances and loads of shots but we still dropped at least 11 points there. as for the away games, we definately had matches we dominated but once we let in first, we crumbled, and a person who could put in 50 50 chances would at least salvage us a point in half of these games and the matches we lost away despite dominating ought to be won. See how much a good striker can make...

Statistics may be laid and wads lacking between Man U, Chelsea and Liverpool is finishing, quality of the last ball and quality of dead ball situations. Lets get it right this time! At least the signing of Lucas in such a short space of time and talks has given me a better impression of the pool scouting team, but i hope someone of good calibre replaces Frank Parland.

sorry this whole post is dedicated to soccer. and i can finally add Kaka and Inzhaghi to my admired players outside of Liverpool list. haha.
